2023 Series

In a time where Greek myth is becoming more well-known I investigate a lifelong fascination with the divine and their brutal, complex stories. Artistically, these myths have been replicated over and over again in paintings and drawings, but I give them new life with vibrant colors and new, interesting characters that interact in fluid and complex ways. A major aspect of this series was my evolution digitally, which I believe is evident in the work. I have become more experimental, more likely to take risks, and more confident in my abilities because of this series.

Since its conception, Mythos has been shown at the Devonshire Inn and Pub in Shepherdstown, WV. It has also been published twice. Midas has been shown in Art Trek, a mobile gallery space, and was awarded Best In Show by the juried Student Honors Exhibit at the Phaze 2 Gallery in Shepherdstown, WV.
